We are looking for a talented Automation Specialist to join our team in one of our highly automated and fast-paced Fulfilment Centers (FC).


Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for fault finding, troubleshooting and improving controls solutions for automated material handling equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, scales, HMI systems, and control cabinets.

They will also provide training to the Engineering Technicians on device troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.



Requirements:

3+ years experience with PLC controlled automation and issue diagnosis in a continuous process or production environment.

You must possess a Bachelor's degree, or be on track for obtaining a Bachelor's degree in less than one year.

Experience supporting a wide range of different conveyors and sortation systems is essential.

Proven ability to troubleshoot under high pressure is a must.

Ability to follow, understand and develop improvement strategies for code conforming to IEC standards is required.

Experience in dealing with material handling, flow and capacity visualization and monitoring is also necessary.

Experience with Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, Ignition, Visio and AutoCAD is a plus.

Ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher is required.



Preferred Qualifications:

Educational background in electrical or mechanical engineering, computer science or a related field is a plus.

Understanding of ISO 13849 and Familiarity with CE Machinery Directive is a must.

Experience in a multi-site environment is also beneficial.

Project management experience and knowledge of Six Sigma, analytical and process improvement techniques is a plus.
