Financial Reporting and Accounting Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting and Accounting Expert to join our team at Euronext. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process automated and unautomated entries from sub-ledgers and external systems
  • Generate intercompany transactions and related documentation
  • Prepare monthly corporate tax provision and tax proofs
  • Provide information to auditors, tax authorities, and regulators
  • Reconcile and document accounts, including intercompany positions
  • Create and assess period-end entries
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of entries
  • Liaise with legal, corporate secretary, tax, and treasury teams
  • Complete internal controls
  • Report in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAP (if needed)
  • Support preparation and filing of monthly VAT returns
  • Support preparation and filing of annual corporate income tax returns
  • Prepare monthly report of Euronext Group legal entities
  • Record and process General Accounting transactions
  • Perform intercompany accounting
  • Analyze and reconcile accounts
  • Close books and aggregate financial results
  • Perform Financial Reporting
  • Support performing Statutory/Regulatory Reporting
  • Other General Accounting-related activities

Requirements

  • Accounting background in a multinational environment with strong analytical skills
  • Experience with an ERP system—MS Dynamics is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Positive "can-do" attitude, flexibility, and excellent attention to details
  • Sense of responsibility, initiative, and high-quality work standard
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team worker

Qualifications

  • Higher accounting degree or qualified education in finance according to local education system
  • Strong accounting background with analytical skills
  • Accounting experience (2 years or more)
  • Ongoing professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) is an advantage
