About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team at our office in Rome. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support, including bookkeeping, accounting, and controlling functions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently
  • Process vendors' payments and ensure timely payment
  • Maintain accurate purchase orders and invoices
  • Perform accounts and bank reconciliations
  • Support junior accountants as needed
  • Monitor employees' travel expenses
  • Assist with financial control and reporting requirements
  • Provide input on annual budget processes and forecasts
  • Support audit preparations and VAT statements establishment
  • Closed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial periods accurately

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • At least five years of accounting experience, preferably in an international environment
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with financial control and reporting requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP and Business Analyst
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience
