Job Description:

You will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success and sustainability of the hotel by providing strategic guidance and implementing sound financial practices.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Optimize resource utilization and educate the team on best practices.
  • People Management: Foster seamless coordination and cooperation among departments to ensure maximum productivity and guest satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly to queries, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Educate personnel about departmental objectives and policies.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly statements, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs), for senior management and corporate headquarters.
  • Monitor cash flow projections, optimize liquidity requirements, and implement cash management strategies to ensure adequate funding for pre-opening activities and ongoing operations.
  • Implement cost control measures and monitor expenses to adhere to budgetary constraints and maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Establish robust internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage capital expenditure projects, evaluate investment opportunities, and coordinate with project teams to ensure cost-effective allocation of resources and timely completion of projects.
  • Lead and mentor finance team members, provide coaching and support, and foster their professional development to achieve high performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in the hospitality industry or a related field, with at least 1 year in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, analyze trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve organizational goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, stakeholders, and external partners.

Estimated Salary Range:$120,000 - $180,000 per annum
