We are currently seeking talented students or recent graduates to join our Central Supply Chain team at our Headquarters in Parma.

As an integral member of the team, the intern will gain practical experience and have the chance to develop expertise across various competencies within the Purchasing department.

Internship Overview
The primary goal of this internship is to familiarize you with Barilla by collaborating with skilled professionals on a challenging and rewarding project within the Purchasing sector. You will be involved in the development and execution of the Vendor Portal, a digital platform designed to enhance Barilla's interactions with Suppliers.

Specifically, under the guidance of a mentor, you will:

  • Assist suppliers in utilizing the platform and ensure the accuracy of the information provided;
  • Encourage suppliers to engage with the platform and oversee their onboarding process;
  • Serve as a point of contact for buyers, facilitating their effective use of the platform;
  • Create reporting KPIs and track the project's progress;
  • Coordinate updates with other business units;
  • Analyze issues faced by suppliers and buyers, proposing viable solutions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Candidates should be 2nd year Master's degree students in Engineering, Economics & Management, Agronomy, Food Science & Technology, or related fields, seeking a curricular internship for thesis work, or recent graduates looking for an extracurricular internship.

• A strong academic record is essential.

• International study or work experience is a plus.

• Proficiency in English and Italian is required.


• Exceptional organizational skills: ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Effective communication skills, including solid presentation abilities.

• Team collaboration skills are essential.
