Regulatory Expert in Product Compliance

Ferrero, a leading family-owned company with a global outlook and iconic brands such as Nutella, Tic Tac, Ferrero Rocher, and Kinder Surprise, seeks an experienced Regulatory Specialist to ensure product compliance worldwide.
The successful candidate will join the Group Food Safety & Product Integrity Center, working closely with the Product Integrity Recipes Team. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance for new industrial and experimental recipes, as well as assessing changes to regulations.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct technical scientific evaluations of new recipes to ensure compliance with local and international regulations;
- Interpret regulations/standards and apply them effectively;
- Create technical documentation for labeling purposes and support requests from authorities and customs;
- Provide technical scientific support to the Legal Department on matters related to labeling and claims;
- Offer regulatory guidance and assessment to support product development;
- Calculate and manage nutritional information to support product design and labeling;
- Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring data integrity;
- Manage workflows in electronic systems, such as Devex;
- Lead regulatory projects and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the area of responsibility.
- A Master's Degree in Food Science, Technology, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of experience in an international environment, preferably in the food industry, with background in regulatory functions;
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex subjects concisely;
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and analytical skills;
- Able to adapt to ambiguity and change quickly;
- Fluent in English; Italian and other languages are considered a plus;
- Possess excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel;
- Knowledge of Devex is a plus.
