About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ice Cream Laboratory Technologist to join our Breakthrough Innovation team based in Alba (CN). This role will be the starting point of an exciting career in our dynamic and challenging R&D function, enabling you to consolidate both technical and managerial skills.

You will have the opportunity to work in a highly dynamic and international environment, focusing on the development of new Ice-Cream products as well as supporting industrial processes. Your primary responsibility will be the timely and efficient execution of projects aimed to translate long-term strategic ambitions into breakthrough product innovation.

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will contribute to the success of the team by bringing your expertise in laboratory tests, ensuring analytical and interpretative reliability to protect consumer safety. You will also be responsible for all laboratory analysis, tests, and research in projects, supporting decision-making processes and keeping up-to-date specifications related to products.

Additionally, you will support the manager in proposing solutions aimed at improving product-related aspects, raw materials, semi-finished products, and production processes. You will participate in the study of new doses and provide their drafting, collaborating with internal and external partners for new equipment and technologies.

Furthermore, you will oversee and monitor the technological evolution of new laboratory equipment, collaborating in the evaluation of its advantages. Finally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with group plant technologies to provide technical product-process support and assess suitable semi-finished products/ingredients/RMs.
