Job Description

The Key Account Manager - Poultry will play a crucial role in our Sales team based out of our Italy site. This position will act as a point of contact for customers requiring information and guidance about Phibro's portfolio and will focus on creating a sustainable business growth in the associated territory/customers.

Responsibilities
  • Lead demand generation activities in the assigned territory associated with this role.
  • Provide support to achieve budgeted sales and gross margin for Phibro products in the assigned territory.
  • Provide technical support for customers, key influencers, and end-users ensuring proper use of products.
  • Support local distributors for demand creation, technical service, training, and sales support as required to drive the sale of products.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activity in the assigned area and provide guidance to the appropriate Species Business Manager.
  • Attend customer events and connect with relevant Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Strengthen relationships by following strategic account management principles and behaviors.
  • Inform customers about Phibro's pricing policy and other relevant business information.
  • Plan and forecast customer demand to anticipate supply requirements and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Comply with Phibro's policies and lead with a high level of integrity.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned based on business needs.
  • Frequent travel required within the assigned territory and occasional international travel up to a maximum of 25%.
Requirements
  • Must have a degree in Veterinary medicine, Nutrition, or other relevant animal science degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in animal health and established poultry network.
  • Commercial acumen with technical orientation (poultry field technical experience preferred).
  • Ability to self-manage daily activities and responsibilities.
  • Teamwork mindset to connect with European and global colleagues.
  • Conversational English level.
