Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join our team at Humanitas, a leading research institution in the field of cancer biology and immunology. The successful candidate will be part of our Innate Immunity in Inflammation and Cancer Lab, led by Dr. Sebastien Jaillon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pursue a research program in immunotherapy and cancer research, under the guidance of the Group Leader.
  • Design and execute experiments to uncover novel targets and pathways to enhance the efficacy of combination immunotherapy for lung cancer.
  • Establish procedures and develop new approaches to investigate the complex relationships between the immune system, the stroma, and the tumor.
  • Maintain accurate records of experiments and reagents, and prepare and present work at laboratory meetings.
Requirements
  • PhD in immunology, cancer biology, or a related field.
  • Solid background in immunology and familiarity with cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, and standard mouse work.
  • Experience in immune profiling of cancer samples and mouse handling.
  • Familiarity with mouse cancer models, single-cell RNA sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, flow cytometry, tissue culture, and data analysis.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, flexible, and a team player.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
