About Us

St. Matthew's House has been serving the Southwest Florida community for over 35 years, providing food, shelter, and support to those in need. Our retail stores play a vital role in funding our programs, and we are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for our customers.

Job Duties
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers, answering questions, and making recommendations that align with our mission.
  • Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with organizing merchandise and maintaining the overall appearance of the store to create a welcoming environment.
  • Help with the set-up and movement of furniture and other large items, ensuring the store is ready for customers.
  • Ensure that all areas of the store are clean, organized, and safe for customers.
  • Support the team in other tasks as needed to ensure a successful store opening and operation.
