Asset Integrity Engineering Manager

Job Responsibilities
  • Collect and compile equipment and piping data for assessment purposes.
  • Define data requirements from other team members and establish assumptions.
  • Populate data and assess the effectiveness of past inspections with the support of field inspection engineers.
  • Evaluate the probability and consequence of failure for each asset.
  • Assess risk for each damage mechanism and finalize the risk assessment.
  • Generate recommendations to mitigate damage mechanisms.
  • Present assessment results in an approved format and prepare a comprehensive report.
  • Recommend inspection schedules and procedures.
  • Obtain approval for reports from relevant authorities.
  • Advise on proper inspection techniques and evaluate potential degradation mechanisms.
  • Lead and manage the Asset Integrity Team, ensuring effective allocation of resources and activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in asset integrity engineering.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation, including P&IDs, PFDs, and MSDs.
  • Familiarity with data sheets and heat and material balances.
  • Understanding of inspection reports and corrosion phenomena.
  • Knowledge of corrosion and degradation mechanisms affecting the upstream and refining industries.
  • Familiarity with API 580 and 581 principles and methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of integrity management methodologies, including RBI, PIM, and FFS.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
  • Ability to travel to offices and operation sites.

Education

Masters' degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
