Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Asset Integrity Engineering Manager to lead our Asset Integrity Team in terms of activities and resources. The successful candidate will have at least 4-5 years of experience in asset integrity management, with expertise in corrosion and degradation mechanisms affecting upstream and refining industry.

About the Role:

As an Asset Integrity Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the team's activities and resources, ensuring effective data population, risk assessment, and recommendation generation. You will also evaluate potential degradation mechanisms, recommend inspections, and get reports reviewed and approved by involved authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze equipment/piping data required for assessment
  • Define data requirements from other team members and make necessary assumptions
  • Populate data and assess effectiveness of past inspections
  • Evaluate probability and consequence of failure and assess risk for each damage mechanism
  • Generate recommendations to mitigate damage mechanisms
  • Display assessment results in approved format and prepare a report
  • Recommend inspections and get reports reviewed and approved by involved authorities
  • Evaluate potential degradation mechanisms and recommend proper inspection techniques
  • Manage Asset Integrity Team in terms of activities and resources

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in asset integrity management
  • Expertise in corrosion and degradation mechanisms affecting upstream and refining industry (API 571 certification is considered a plus)
  • Familiarity with API-580/581 principles (API 580 certification is considered a plus)
  • Basic knowledge of integrity management methodologies (including RBI, PIM, FFS, etc.)
  • Ability to read technical documentation, such as plot plans, PIDs, PFDs, line lists, GA drawings, mechanical data sheets, etc.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
