This position involves providing essential support and training to project and tender teams regarding the requirements management (RM) process, methodology, and tools (such as DOORS) necessary for executing the required activities.

Additionally, the role includes monitoring and reporting on the progress of RM activities, managing the RM database, and assisting engineers in their RM tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement global Requirement Management processes for tenders, projects, and product development by facilitating access to the DOORS Database and ensuring proper training on the tool, RM process, and methodology. Governance and compliance with all RM policies must be upheld, and any deviations from the RM process must receive approval from the central RM Métier.

Support the Train Performance Manager (TPM) in the daily application of the RM process:

  • Develop the RM Strategy for the development, tender, and execution phases with management support.
  • Create and maintain the RM Plan.
  • Collaborate with Scope Owners to ensure clarity on their responsibilities and adherence to the project timeline.
  • Ensure data is reused in accordance with platform and tender strategies.
  • Organize and facilitate workshops with Scope Owners for each phase of the RM process.
  • Prepare and format exports for customer delivery.
  • Communicate project status through relevant KPIs.

Safeguard the integrity of Contracts by ensuring that the contractual baseline and any modifications are accurately reflected in DOORS and communicated to the engineering team for technical clarification and decision-making.

Guide engineers in their Requirement Development Activities by assisting Scope Owners in constructing requirement specifications and establishing traceability of requirements to design and validation. Conduct quality reviews of requirements, provide feedback, and suggest enhancements for Scope Owners to consider and validate.

Manage Change & Configuration by establishing baselines in accordance with RM processes, in collaboration with the configuration manager. Govern and maintain the Baseline Release Note in line with the Product Baseline Strategy.

Contribute to the RM Network:

  • Provide feedback and improvements to the Global RM Métier through RM Site representation.
  • Assist the Global RM Métier in documenting processes, methodologies, and training.
  • Support DOORS bug reporting, issue resolution with Service Desk, IS&T, and Tools upgrade User Acceptance Tests (UAT).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A university degree in engineering, with at least two (2) years of experience related to requirements management utilizing database solutions (such as DOORS).
  • Practical experience working on projects at various stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Conceptual knowledge of Systems Engineering/Integration.
  • Proficiency in technical writing, requirement elicitation, and formalization.
