About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Purchasing Department at VHIT S.p.A.

As a key member of our supplier quality team, you will be responsible for managing partnerships with automotive suppliers and developing product components for series production and new projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage supplier partnerships to ensure compliance with automotive standards (PPAP) and Lean Production Principles.
  • Develop and implement preventive quality management strategies from planning to implementation.
  • Act as the supplier's technical point of contact for preventive quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and efficiency in supplier partnerships.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fluent Italian and English language skills.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar academic background.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in complex manufacturing organizations, preferably in the automotive field.
  • Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 legislation and relevant quality tools (8D, PSS, Hishikawa, Fmea, 5x3 Why).
  • Auditor certification ISO/TS (Lead auditor IRCA will be a plus).
  • Components knowledge (Fasteners).
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
