Job Title: Supply Chain & Demand Planning Manager

This role is responsible for leading and performing all supply chain related activities for the Filorga Italy subsidiary, including demand & supply planning, transportation and warehousing, managing one direct report.

The Supply Chain & Demand Planning Manager will develop supply plans, collaborate with the France supply chain team, and troubleshoot issues. They will also manage the 3PL providing transportation and warehousing services, define mid & long term strategies for planning processes, and implement projects to support.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business / Logistics or related, with 8 years minimum of Supply Chain experience. Fluency in Italian and excellence knowledge of English are required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop supply plans and collaborate with the France supply chain team.
  2. Manage the 3PL providing transportation and warehousing services.
  3. Define mid & long term strategies for planning processes and implement projects to support.
  4. Lead demand planning and partner with the commercial team on monthly discipline.
  5. Provide customer focused and cost effective distribution, import and transportation of finished products.
  6. Analyze, manage and take cross functional leadership action on inventory levels and SLOB to maintain targeted levels.
  7. Provide oversight, analysis and reporting for warehousing operations, including inventory reconciliation and physical inventories.
  8. Work with the 3PL and O2I to ensure orders for customers and replenishment are fulfilled on-time.
  9. Provide direction for issue resolution, both internally with O2I, 3PL and the Customers.
  10. Collaborate with 3PL, O2I, and Customers to identify and implement supply chain projects to improve the performance of the network.
  11. Work with Legal & Regulatory to ensure that all local regulations for warehousing and transportation are met.
  12. Manage supply chain activities for SKU launches, discontinuations and transitions.
  13. Partner with the commercial team on business simplification and segmentation strategies.
  14. Lead supply chain aspects of systems implementation.
  15. Develop mid-year and budget logistics cost, and monitor/manage monthly spend.
  16. Provide input for the budget and performance targets, review the monthly KPI's to identify areas of improvement and drive implementation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business / Logistics or related.
  • 8 years minimum of Supply Chain experience.
  • Fluency in Italian and excellence knowledge of English.
  • VISA NOT SPONSORED.
