Key Responsibilities
- Manage the housekeeping process, ensuring that all properties are clean and well-maintained.
- Coordinate a team of housekeepers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the resources they need to succeed.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring that all properties are cleaned to a high standard.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all properties meet Sonder's high standards.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are available to the housekeeping team.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and customer service, to ensure that all guest needs are met.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity within the housekeeping department.
- Provide training and development opportunities to housekeeping staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a housekeeping department or similar operation.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull required load (usually about 40 lbs).
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between properties on a daily basis.
