Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced COP Manager to support the Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) per Commanding General's guidance on COP implementation. The successful candidate will ensure the fidelity, accuracy, and timeliness of the COP data, and depict the situational awareness picture in the SETAF-AF Command Operations and Intelligence Center (COIC).

The COP Manager will coordinate with SETAF-AF directorates, subordinate units, USAREUR-AF, Coalition/Joint Task Force and USAFRICOM COP Managers to have a full understanding of current and planned operations and tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fuse and correlate operations, intelligence, logistics, and sensor data with various overlays and graphical products.
  • Develop overlays, KML files, and other Tactical Decision Aids (TDAs) as required by SETAF-AF Battle Watch Captain (BWC) and COIC Watch Officers.
  • Coordinate with G2 to ensure intelligence data meets Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIR) and Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR).
  • Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot data feed connections such as CST, BCNTRK, and Theater Missile Warning feeds with USAREUR-AF and USAFRICOM.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a COP Manager.
  • Security Clearance Required: Secret Level Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline; or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
