Embedded Software Architect

At Capgemini Engineering, we are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Architect to join our team. As a Technical Leader for Engineering Software Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engineering software solutions that meet our clients' needs.
This is a central role in our CoE (Center of Excellence) whose organization is aimed at solutioning, delivering, and evolving our added value offering. You will work closely with our Pre-sales team to manage technical solutions for RFQs and analyze market trends and technological landscapes to evolve our offering and propose new trends and high-end technologies.
Your key responsibilities will include supporting qualifying prospection meetings to present and position our offer portfolio throughout the sales lifecycle, supporting the definition of sales pipeline and go-to-market planning, working actively in leading and deploying strategic projects, and monitoring and proposing improvement plans to meet project financial targets.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a higher education degree in software engineering with practical experiences, minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering with client-facing experience in a solutions architecture, technical consulting, or presales engineering role, and proven experiences and extended networking in one of the following markets: the Railway, Life Science, Aerospace & Defense.
In addition, you will need to have experience of handling different client organizations, business lines & environments, outstanding communication skills, self-motivation, and ability to use initiative, experience of working in an international context, developed understanding of project planning and budgeting, and ability to lead complex and high-value engagements from pre-sales to project awarding.
Knowledge of distributed software solutions, modern software technologies, architectures, testing, data processing solutions, automated deployment pipelines, CD/CI, Agile, and quality assurance will be an advantage.
