About the Role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team in Milano. As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Java programming language and related technologies.
  • Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
