Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Backend Developer to contribute to our innovative projects, collaborating with prominent clients in the advertising industry. This position emphasizes backend development, utilizing Java and SQL relational databases for web applications. The role also incorporates AWS cloud services and serverless architecture to create, deploy, and oversee scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate will engage in substantial projects that require a solid grasp of business logic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and enhance backend systems for a web portal using the AWS technology stack, Java/Spring Boot, and SQL databases;
  • Work alongside senior developers to comprehend client needs and convert them into technical implementations;
  • Operate within Linux environments, ensuring optimal data handling and processing;
  • Engage in Agile Scrum methodologies to guarantee timely project delivery and superior quality;
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, particularly in cloud computing (AWS) and serverless frameworks;
  • Foster effective communication with team members and stakeholders to maintain project coherence and success, utilizing platforms like Confluence and Jira.

Required Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the AWS ecosystem and a desire to learn about serverless architectures;
  • Proficient in Java programming with foundational knowledge of SQL databases;
  • Familiarity with Linux systems and basic command-line skills;
  • Experience with GIT and version control workflows;
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, MVC, ORM, design patterns, and RESTful APIs;
  • Strong analytical skills and a collaborative spirit in a team setting;
  • Willingness to learn and implement new technologies and tools, with good communication skills in English for daily interactions.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline;
  • A minimum of 1 year in a comparable role (AWS/Java/SQL development) is advantageous.
