Join Our Team as a Technical Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team in Milan. As a key member of our Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) team, you will be responsible for leading the development of technical solutions and supporting the Commercial Organization in creating strategic value.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical interactions with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement technical packages that meet client requirements and company offerings.
  • Coordinate with engineering departments, business units, and affiliates to prepare and deliver offers.
  • Prepare and harmonize technical packages, gathering and optimizing costs.
  • Develop new offering concepts and solutions for the IMR business.
  • Assess projects and tenders, identifying main risks and opportunities.
  • Track and manage IMR sales and technical concepts and models.
  • Visit customers to understand their challenges and needs, developing and establishing databases and procedures to support these efforts.
  • Act as Project Manager for short-term activities, such as inspections.
  • Manage the handover to execution teams and define improvement actions based on lessons learned.
About the Role:

This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to lead and manage engineering and technical teams. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with effective time management skills, able to meet deadlines and work autonomously.

This is a newly established business with huge opportunities to position Prysmian Group in a fast-growing service market. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the company to maintain consistency at a global scale and play a significant role in developing successful and effective IMR solutions.

Travel requirements: 30-40% depending on specific situations.
