The Offshore Superintendent role is a critical position within the Prysmian Group, responsible for overseeing the installation of submarine cables in various marine environments. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Execution: The Offshore Superintendent will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of cable installation projects, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications and company policies.
- Technical Leadership: The successful candidate will provide technical guidance and support to installation teams, ensuring that all technical aspects of the project are properly managed.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): The Offshore Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring that all HSE protocols are followed, and that all personnel involved in the project are aware of and comply with company HSE policies.
- Project Management: The Offshore Superintendent will work closely with project managers to ensure that all project milestones are met, and that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Client Relationship Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the project outcomes.
- Technical Background: A technical background in engineering technology or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Preferably experience in a role involved in the installation of submarine cables or in the construction industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide installation teams.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines.
