Leap29 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Development Manager to lead the development of utility-scale solar projects in Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project development, from securing permits to achieving Ready to Build status.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement project development strategies to optimize project outcomes.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with external consultants and lawyers to secure necessary permits and approvals.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, residents, and landowners.
- Conduct due diligence on development-related matters during acquiring processes.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and market trends.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management within the renewable energy sector.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in team management.
- Fluent in Italian and English, with good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
