This role will involve leading the delivery of Solar PV owner's engineering projects for clients in Italy and worldwide, ensuring they are appropriately resourced, delivered on time and budget as well as supporting our client to increase the project value whilst reducing the risks.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in guiding and managing PV projects from inception to completion. They will develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, and coordinate with internal teams, client stakeholders, external contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Guide and manage PV projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project milestones are met.
  2. Develop and Maintain: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  3. Coordinate Teams: Coordinate with internal teams, client stakeholders, external contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  4. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance during construction, commissioning, and operational phases.
  5. Manage Performance: Manage preparation of performance assessments and troubleshooting of PV systems.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and local communities.
  7. Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial) or a cognate discipline; relevant master's degree is not mandatory but preferable.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Desirable working knowledge of Solar PV development in Italy.
  • Familiarity with PVsyst or other modelling software.
  • Familiar with international and local standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Proactivity and problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English both written and verbal.
