Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Country Owner to join our team at Alight. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining the local payroll country set-up of Alight Pay, ensuring compliance with country legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain country payroll standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Products team to deliver compliant country payroll calculations and legal compliance into the core pay engine.
  • Lead client country activation and act as the payroll manager supporting the client and internal teams on the account once live.
  • Continual review and update of country standard solution to identify and adapt to legal changes and incorporate into all design documents, workbooks, and other material to maintain country compliance.
  • Validate all created standards and rules through testing of created country solution within Alight Pay.
  • Accountable for the Alight Pay country payroll activation for customers, working as part of a wider project team during activation and implementations.
  • Assist client and internal teams on country payroll and coordinate payroll activities.
  • Ensure that the payroll is run to the correct standard, SLA's are met and work with the Delivery Expert on any issues, escalations or client CRs.
Requirements
  • Fluent in English (written, oral)
  • Advanced level of Excel
  • Country payroll and legislation expertise (Switzerland)
  • HR Consulting, payroll and outsourcing industry experience.
  • Implementation knowledge and experience.
  • A solutions-based thinker with a natural inquisitive mind.
  • Attention to detail.
Work Experience
  • Business analysis experience
  • Payroll in-country experience (Switzerland)
  • Nice to have: Implementation and/or Operations experience Nice to have – experience of working in a matrix organisation
