About the Role
Hitachi Rail is looking for an experienced and skilled Systems Architect for Railways to lead our onboard systems team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in system design and development, with experience in the railway industry.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Management and coordination of onboard systems.
  • Support and coordination during bid and project development of technical design of onboard system.
  • Definition of systems conceptual solution and architecture based on requirements and vehicle configuration.

Requirements
  • Degree in Electric or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience of at least 5 years in the railway industry as Systems Engineer and/or Designer focused on doors system.
  • Good knowledge of disciplines related to system design, such as mechanics and electronics.
  • Knowledge of main applicable standards and office automation software/tools.
