We are looking to hire a skilled Cyber Security Engineer with an analytical mind and a detailed understanding of cybersecurity methodologies.

Job Overview

Cyber security engineers at Thales Alenia Space work comfortably under pressure, deliver on tight deadlines, and possess meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of the Space Segment and Ground Segment Architectures.
  • Identify and define system security requirements.
  • Design system security architecture and develop cyber security designs.
  • Security Risk Assessment.
  • Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing. Conducting testing and scans to identify any vulnerabilities in the network, equipment and integrated system .
  • Develop technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Prepare and document security operating procedures and protocols.
  • Write reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Engineering with specialization in Information and Communication Technologies or Electronics, Telecommunications ,Computer Science.
  • At least 3 years of work experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer.
  • Experience in building and maintaining security architecture.
  • A good knowledge of English language, written and spoken, is required.
  • Familiarity with NIST, ISO 2700x, EU Security Directives, National Cybersecurity Framework.

Thales Alenia Space offers attractive compensation, estimated at around $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
