Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Compliance Officer Trainee to join our team at Société Générale Italy. As a key member of our Corporate and Investment Banking activities, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business processes and transactions comply with all relevant legal and internal guidelines.

Under the supervision of our Senior Officers, you will review relevant documentation and data to ensure compliance with financial crime regulation and standards, particularly on KYC. Your ultimate goal will be to prevent money laundering and the danger of terrorist financing during the KYC processes / steps.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate and assess the risks posed by potential new clients or review of existing ones
  • Analyze clients' requests on transactions/activities
  • Regularly examine data and solutions to verify KYC regulations are being met
  • Review or develop KYC policies and/or procedures
  • Ensure keeping orderly audit trail of the activities and escalating violations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business management or a related field
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in both English and Italian
  • Knowledge of UE and ITA KYC/AML regulatory requirements and regulation besides the international standards
  • High ethical standard combined with pragmatical skills
