Serve as the primary entertainment feature in the nightclub, contributing to an engaging atmosphere during performances.
Key Duties- Manage the entertainment systems within the nightclub, ensuring that all equipment is treated with care and used in accordance with safety protocols.
- Maintain vigilance regarding the equipment and safety measures on board, recognizing that improper use or alterations may lead to significant risks and damage.
- Support the cruise staff in organizing activities in the nightclub, preparing technical setups, and ensuring the musical selections align with the event requirements.
- Communicate any equipment issues to the Head Technician, adhering to company guidelines.
- Be present during inspections or visits from shore-side technical teams to provide necessary assistance and support.
- Keep the workspace and assigned equipment storage organized, showing utmost respect for all tools and avoiding leaving items that could be misplaced or damaged.
- Tailor the musical selections to the preferences of the guests, ensuring appropriate mixing and song choices.
- Collaborate with the Entertainment Team to plan and execute special events or themed nights.
- Completion of Secondary Education
- Prior experience in nightclubs or similar venues, whether on land or at sea.
- Basic knowledge of sound and lighting systems; proficiency with computers.
- Energetic, imaginative, and effective communicator.
- Comfortable with public speaking engagements.
- Proficient in English (B1 level).
- Knowledge of Italian is advantageous.
- Previous shipboard experience is beneficial.
