Job Requirements:

Burgess Yachts is seeking a qualified 2nd Engineer to join a 70m+ yacht on a temporary contract. The ideal candidate will have hands-on engineering experience and be familiar with engine room operations. A CoC is required - 2nd Engineer Unlimited or SV 2nd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support during the shipyard period in Ancona and ensuring the safe and smooth operation of the vessel during the Atlantic crossing.

Responsibilities:

Provide engineering support during the shipyard period in Ancona.
Assist in managing engineering operations and maintenance tasks.
Ensure the safe and smooth operation of the vessel during the Atlantic crossing.
Perform routine checks, system maintenance, and troubleshooting as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience:

Hands-on engineering experience is essential.
Yachting experience preferred but not mandatory.
Must be familiar with engine room operations and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
CoC required - 2nd Engineer Unlimited or SV 2nd.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a dynamic environment and be comfortable with the physical demands of the role.
