Project Manager

Vertiv Holdings is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Castel Guelfo, Italy. As a key member of our Large Power Converters Product line, you will be responsible for introducing new or existing products in Global Regions, working closely with product development PMs across the Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the launch of products by coordinating with various departments in accordance with Vertiv's NPDI process.
  • Lead the team responsible for achieving project objectives over cross-functional groups, directed towards strategic business and organizational objectives.
  • Identify potential risks, assess their impact, and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Estimate project cost and keep it under control by managing expenses effectively.
  • Work with resource managers to identify and obtain required resources to adequately staff projects.
Requirements:
  • Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
  • Good communication skills to work with peers, general management, upper management, outside vendors, and production Plants as required.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others with no direct authority.
  • Ability to navigate Organizational complexity and identify the most appropriate stakeholder(s) for each task with minimum guidance.
  • Experience with coordinating meetings both in presence and remote.
  • Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in any technical domain (Engineering preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous work experience in project management or coordination.
  • Fluency in both English and Italian.
