Job Title: Planning ManagerAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join our Large Power Converters Product Line at Vertiv Holdings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and driving strategic planning and process governance for new product development, sustaining activities, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Planning Activities within the global Large Power Converters team, managing the strategic agenda of the Product Line and enhancing overall productivity.
  2. Establish and Drive comprehensive Process Governance, for new product development, long-term sustaining activities, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
  3. Strategic Objectives Alignment, ensuring all processes are aligned with the business strategic goals, with a particular focus on cost efficiency, timeline adherence, and product performance.
  4. Implement and Govern Hypercare Programs, to ensure the seamless launch and smooth market introduction of new product platforms.
  5. Data Analysis for Product and Process Improvement, using data from various sources (key accounts, field service, technical support etc.) and identifying patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  6. Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration, promoting effective communication across various functions to resolve issues, optimize resources, and achieve project objectives.
  7. Coordinate and schedule Meetings and Follow-Ups with the necessary resources, ensuring follow-ups and escalations are managed effectively.
  8. Risk Identification and Mitigation in new products development processes through structured problem-solving methodologies, in close collaboration with Project Management.
  9. Build Scalable and Adaptable Processes to meet future demands in innovation and production.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Industrial Management or related technical degree.
  2. MBA and prior consulting or strategic planning preferred.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in matching or very similar roles.
  4. Previous experience with 3-phase power distribution, power electronics, large converters, UPS systems or Battery storage systems is preferred.
  5. Ability to navigate complex, cross-disciplinary challenges and drive solutions that balance technical innovation with practical business needs.
  6. Strong written/oral technical communication, especially in communicating customer needs.
  7. Strong relationship management skills.
