Salary

The salary for this position will be competitively set based on the candidate's previous experience, with an estimated annual gross income range of 26.000€-35.000€. Candidates may also benefit from attractive tax incentives.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral researcher to join our team in Pozzuoli, Naples, Italy. The successful candidate will be involved in an exciting project aimed at dissecting mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of mitochondrial diseases and developing mutation-independent strategies to treat rare and common mitochondrial-associated disorders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD in Biology or a related field
  • Excellent skills in cellular and molecular biology
  • A background in mitochondrial biology or microRNAs biology (highly desirable)
  • Mouse genetic expertise (a plus)
