About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced analyst to work closely with our Commercial Finance Director and business teams to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business success. You will be responsible for analyzing client profitability, identifying areas for improvement, and developing recommendations to enhance revenue and margin growth.

Your expertise in financial analysis, combined with your ability to communicate complex data insights to non-finance stakeholders, will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnering:
    • Partner with key business stakeholders to provide analysis and insight that informs business decision-making.
    • Collaborate with non-finance teams to ensure financial implications of business decisions are fully understood.
  • Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyze key business metrics, such as revenue, margin, and profitability by client and business line.
    • Develop data models to support scenario analysis and new business evaluation.
    • Track performance against budget and forecasts, providing insight into variances and recommending corrective actions.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in commercial finance and analysis departments.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or an analytical related field.
  • Advanced level of computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and data extraction and analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SQL).
  • Data visualization software knowledge (Tableau, Power BI) is also required.
