Ferrero is seeking an experienced Operation Environmental & Energy Specialist to join its Operations Sustainability Environment and Energy Department in Pozzuolo Martesana (MI). The successful candidate will report to the Industrial Sustainability Environment & Energy Manager and contribute to achieving the company's ambitious global targets for industrial sustainability and environmental initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:The Operation Environmental & Energy Specialist will be responsible for ensuring environmental and energy legal compliance to achieve and maintain ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 certifications. This will involve monitoring environmental emissions and industrial waste of the Pozzuolo Martesana production site, providing support to operational lines in pursuing sustainability opportunities and projects to reach the Group's goals. Additionally, the specialist will monitor energy consumption, both externally supplied and internally measured, promoting collaborations and projects to ensure the achievement of energy efficiency and decarbonisation objectives.
Requirements:The ideal candidate will hold a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Environmental Studies, or a related field. A passion for international mobility and a curiosity for the food sector are highly valued. Fluency in both Italian and English is essential, and relevant experience in a similar role would be considered a plus.
