About the Role

Ferrero is seeking an Environmental Operations Specialist to join the Operations Sustainability Environment and Energy Department at our Pozzuolo Martesana production site. The successful candidate will report to the Industrial Sustainability Environment & Energy Manager and contribute to achieving our ambitious Global targets for industrial sustainability and environmental initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

The Environmental Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring environmental and energy legal compliance to achieve and maintain ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 certifications. This will involve monitoring environmental emissions and industrial waste, providing support to operational lines in pursuing sustainability opportunities and projects to reach the Group goals. Additionally, the role will involve monitoring energy consumption, promoting collaborations and projects to ensure the achievement of energy efficiency and decarbonisation objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's Degree background in Environmental Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Environmental Studies or a related field. A strong desire for international mobility and a passion for the Food sector are also essential. Fluency in both Italian and English is required, and a similar relevant experience would be considered a plus.
