About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dining Services Associate to join our team at Villanova University. As a key member of our dining services team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety in our dining operations.


Key Responsibilities

As a Dining Services Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the overall cleanliness and sanitation of our dining facilities, including front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
  • Receiving, storing, and stocking food and non-food items in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Operating dish machines and recording proper temperatures and chemical sanitizers according to regulations.
  • Assisting with serving lines, back-of-house prep work, and special events as needed.
  • Communicating effectively with cooks and other team members to ensure seamless service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic reading and writing skills, as well as excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our students, faculty, and staff.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds independently.
