Business Development Manager

The Sales Executive will be responsible for analysing local market trends and competitor activity to generate new business for the hotel.
Key responsibilities include:
- Market Analysis: Analyse local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads.
- Customer Development: Develop customer accounts and drive business into the hotel to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams, with a focus on Meeting, Events & Weddings.
- Contract Preparation: Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
- Business Development: Work within current business strategies and recognise potential opportunities.
- Collaboration: Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs.
- Event Management: Attend and organise client events, presentations, participations in tradeshows, sales trips, and fam trips in alliance with Hilton Worldwide's global sales structure.
- Networking: Develop an effective network within Hilton Worldwide's global sales organisation and local industry organisations.
- Reporting: Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management, including the reporting of appointments, calls made, and business leads.
- Customer Service: Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner.

- Attitude and Communication: Maintain a positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Customer Service: Demonstrate a commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
- Flexibility: Show flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
- Independence: Display the ability to work under pressure and under own initiative.
- Sales Experience: Possess experience in a sales role with a proven track record of closing sales.
