Culinary Assistant

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's standards.
- Ensure all mise en place is prepared and organized for service, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and workstations, adhering to safety and food hygiene guidelines.
- Follow proper handling and storage of food items, as well as assist with stock rotation and inventory control.
- Support other kitchen team members as needed during service, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Participate in daily prep and service, ensuring food is prepared on time and according to specification.
- Help with cleaning and closing down the kitchen after service, maintaining a clean and efficient environment.

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, but not essential.
- A genuine passion for food and cooking, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a desire to learn and grow within the culinary profession.
