At Melt Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Export Area Manager to join our team in Puglia, Italy. As a key member of our commercial administration area, this role will be responsible for managing and expanding our client portfolio, negotiating trade agreements, and maintaining a productive relationship with partners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Management, planning, and organization of the commercial administration area.
  • Expand the client portfolio and manage existing relationships.
  • Negotiate trade agreements and maintain a productive relationship with partners.
  • Report progress and strategic needs to the Directorate.
  • Attend trade fairs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Propose new channels, markets, and products to enhance our business.

Requirements:

  • High knowledge of English for negotiations.
  • Proficiency in German for negotiations.
  • 3 years of sales experience in the field of marketing within fruits/vegetables or food industry in European distribution.
  • Knowledge of commercial and operational processes, products, and their packaging.
  • Experience in customer and market analysis.
  • Proven experience in export business, preferably in the same industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of foreign trade regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent knowledge of market data and dynamics.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Key Qualifications:

  • Able to travel abroad to meet with clients and develop business relationships.
