Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Ats Automation. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of their equipment, and resolving any technical issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers at their premises, ensuring the efficient operation of their equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on complex equipment, with minimal supervision.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Support customer requests and queries, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Five years of experience in a related field, with a strong emphasis on mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Training courses in handling service over the phone or remotely.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing machinery.
  • Ability to interpret and read electrical and mechanical drawings, manufacturer guidelines, reference manuals, and instruction guides.
  • Experience working with suppliers to resolve technical issues at customer sites.
  • Practiced technical competences in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Practiced validation competences with reporting according to legislation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and FUSION company enterprise system.

Relational Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and logically.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Language Skills:

  • Good/great knowledge of English, both written and spoken.

Experience: From 2 to 5 years of experience as a travelling technician or with remote technical service.
