Key Responsibilities
As a Structural BIM Modeler and QA Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Being the QA/QC reference within an assigned Scrum Team, participating in all team events
- Understanding product requirements and preparing test cases and checklists for software validation
- Collaborating with the Product Owner and UX/UI Team to identify corner cases, missing requirements, and provide usability feedback
- Designing and executing functional testing on the software product increment, working closely with developers
- Verifying that functionality does not degrade over time
- Documenting, reporting, and assessing encountered bugs
- Collaborating with the Testing Italian team on release testing
- Providing technical leadership and focusing on continuous improvement
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in building engineering or architecture from a recognized institution
- 2+ years of professional experience, preferably as a BIM Modeler or similar
- Good analytical skills and ability to work creatively in problem-solving environments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with increasing responsibility
- Good grip on structural modeling tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, and SketchUp
- Excellent historical memory
- Proficiency in English and Italian
Nice to Have
Apart from the required skills, it would be great if you had:
- A fair grip on commonly used structural analysis software solutions
- Knowledge of basic structural analysis and concrete/steel design
- Programming language fundamentals
- Experience or basics of Agile methodology and tools like TFS, Azure DevOps, or Gitlab
