Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our EPC Department in Fano, Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the discipline activity during project execution or bid phase, ensuring that corporate and project procedures are correctly applied and that project deliverables are issued according to the schedule and within approved man-hours budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and comment on technical annexes included in the contract, identifying discrepancies, mistakes, or deficiencies in the documents and developing a list of clarifications/comments to be submitted to the respective Discipline Coordinator/Lead and subsequently to the Project Execution Manager.
  • Attend relevant meetings, such as kick-off meetings and project review meetings, to ensure effective communication and coordination with the project team and stakeholders.
  • Produce and act as discipline approver for the Commissioning project deliverables list, including checks required by other disciplines, to ensure that all deliverables meet the required standards.
  • Check subcontracted discipline engineering documents and Vendor information reviews to ensure compliance with company procedures and project requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective interfaces between the commissioning project team and other disciplines teams, Project Management, and Client representatives to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Examine the contractual Vendor List with the Procurement Department to ensure that all vendors meet the required standards and qualifications.
  • Provide assistance during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities to ensure that all project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Provide progress reporting and forecasting input to the Project Controls Department to ensure that the project is on track and that any issues are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Ensure technical support during the bidding phase and man-hours estimation to ensure that the project is properly planned and executed.
  • Responsible for developing the 3D Model specific area and supporting the 3D Model Coordinator according to the 3D Model Procedure to ensure that all project deliverables are met.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience of 5 years in the Field of Mechanical, EI, and Rotating for Oil Gas, and Power Plant industry as a Commissioning Engineer.
  • Availability to work abroad.
  • Fluent in English.
