Siemens Gamesa, a prominent entity in the energy technology sector, is dedicated to fostering innovation and sustainability in the wind industry. We are currently seeking a skilled LC Technician to enhance our operations in Italy.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be pivotal in the service and upkeep of wind turbines across various customer sites, with a particular emphasis on the replacement of significant components. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems will be essential as you tackle challenges independently to maintain optimal operational efficiency and deliver exceptional service.

Safety is paramount; therefore, you will ensure that all on-site activities prioritize safety protocols. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Providing remote and on-site support to clients.
  • Coordinating service operations and troubleshooting product issues during extensive corrective actions.
  • Executing predefined technical tasks, including basic product commissioning, component integration, and maintenance duties.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about renewable energy and understand the significance of driving change. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma, preferably in mechanical or electrical fields, along with at least two years of experience in the electrical or mechanical sectors. Experience in the wind industry is highly regarded.
  • Comfort with working at elevated heights and a strong commitment to safety.
  • Experience operating cranes and platforms.
  • A valid driving license and the flexibility to travel, as our clients' wind farms are geographically diverse.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, as documentation and tasks may require English communication.
