We are currently seeking a Wind Turbine Service Technician to enhance our Italian operations.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will engage in a dynamic and varied work environment, taking charge of the service and maintenance of wind turbines at customer sites, with a focus on replacing large components.

You will utilize your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to independently troubleshoot issues on-site, ensuring optimal operational reliability and delivering exceptional service to our clients. A significant aspect of your role will be to prioritize safety in all on-site activities. You will provide support to our customers both remotely and on-site, coordinating service operations and addressing product issues during major corrective actions. Additionally, you will carry out primarily predefined technical tasks, including basic commissioning of products and systems, component integration, and maintenance activities.

We value the knowledge of our employees, and as such, you should be prepared to travel internationally for training and corrective actions when necessary.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about renewable energy and understand the importance of leading change. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma (preferably in mechanical or electrical fields) and at least 2 years of experience in the electrical or mechanical industry. Experience in the wind sector is a significant advantage.
  • Comfort with working at heights and a strong commitment to safety.
  • Experience with cranes and platforms.
  • A valid driving license and the flexibility to travel, as our customers' wind farms are geographically dispersed.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, as some documentation and tasks are conducted in English.
  • Good computer skills, with an educational background in electricity, hydraulics, or mechanics being advantageous.
