GroupM is seeking a Corporate Communication Trainee to join the GroupM People Team. Under the guidance of a mentor, the intern will focus on enhancing employee engagement and assist in executing various initiatives related to internal HR communication. This role will be dynamic, requiring both creativity and a structured approach to work. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in employee engagement initiatives by creating written and visual materials
  • Maintaining a content calendar to ensure timely and relevant internal communications
  • Aiding in the development of internal communication materials
  • Composing news articles for the HR intranet
  • Refreshing the internal HR intranet with new content
  • Overseeing the monthly HR newsletter
  • Developing engaging content for new HR initiatives (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion; Wellbeing; Belonging; Sustainability, etc.)
  • Crafting content for employer branding efforts
  • Designing presentations
  • Assisting in evaluating the effectiveness of internal communication strategies
Candidate Profile:
  • Passionate about executing great ideas with precision
  • Skilled in ideation, design, and content creation for HR communication projects
  • Meticulous in writing, with a keen eye for detail to eliminate errors and unclear messaging
  • Proficient in graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, or similar)
  • Knowledgeable in marketing and communication principles
  • Capable of writing and designing newsletters (basic familiarity with MailChimp is a plus)
  • Data-driven approach to crafting effective content
  • Quick learner with a knack for innovative thinking
  • Collaborative team player who is not hesitant to seek guidance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent in English (B2 level)
