Electrical Harness Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Harness Design Engineer to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for guaranteeing the harnesses design and their routing integration inside our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply electrical and schematic métier rules to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Take into account REX, norms, and contract requirements in your work.
  • Realize deliverables by considering Schematics & Apparatus and project inputs.
  • Integrate linked métier requirements, including Advanced Industrialization, Harness designer, EMC, and Maintainability.
  • Manage activities using retro planning and create 3D models of harnesses and metallic supports.
  • Be responsible for detailed electrical harness design deliverables, including BoM kit, formboards, and wiring lists.
  • Manage deliverables to launch prototypes on time and ensure good storage after official release.
  • Organize and pilot harness design deliverables reviews and participate in Electrical Process reviews.
  • Ensure deliverables updates in case of modification and answer to FQR and solve identified issues.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Electrotechnical, Electromechanical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or similar.
  • Professional experience as Engineer with Electrotechnical or Electromechanical skills.
  • Experience with DMA/Catia Electrical, Catia sheet metal, and Cabling/Wiring list software.
  • Knowledge of SEE ONE, GLC, ELSA, and/or ERP (type SAP/GSI) is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of English language.
