Facility Sanitation Manager

Ferrara is seeking a skilled Facility Sanitation Manager to oversee the cleanliness and safety of its industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in sanitation in the food industry and a strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, HACCP, BRC food safety, and GMP principles.

The Facility Sanitation Manager will be responsible for managing plant sanitation procedures, programs, and regulatory requirements to ensure all equipment is clean and safe for production. This includes adhering to strict sanitation, GMP, and safety standards, performing cleaning and sanitation activities according to Master Sanitation Schedules, and monitoring chemical storage and dispensing.

The successful applicant will also be responsible for participating in regular meetings with plant management to discuss quality and sanitation improvements, facilitating problem resolution related to sanitation and sanitation quality issues, and following up on work orders with associates to ensure expeditious performance.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Facility Sanitation Manager will be expected to monitor the use of chemicals and proper safety procedures, checking inventory levels of chemicals and ordering supplies when necessary.
