Key Responsibilities- Network Administration: Analyze the performance of assigned systems and applications, taking action to correct deficiencies.
- Interconnectivity: Maintain and provide support on interconnectivity between EMEA offices and international locations.
- Network Monitoring: Review network monitoring tools and review anomalies on a weekly basis.
- Infrastructure Updates: Review and update network infrastructure equipment.
- Network Deployment: Responsible for deployment, configuration, maintenance, and support of networking equipment and systems.
- Documentation: Maintain diagrams and other documentation regarding application or system functionality and assure they are kept up to date.
- LAN/WAN Analysis: Conducts LAN/WAN analysis to ensure optimal performance of the network, including monthly utilization reports.
- Issue Resolution: Resolves issues within the LAN/WAN environments.
- Backup Monitoring: Sustains the integrity and 24/7 availability of all network data through backup monitoring.
- Azure Support: Troubleshoots Azure AD and Azure systems.
- Communication: Communicates projects and priorities with global team members and IT management on a weekly basis.
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related position in an enterprise network environment is required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline is strongly preferred, but not required.
- Cloud Environment: Must have familiarity with cloud environments including a working knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
- Certification: Microsoft Azure certification is strongly preferred.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
- Network Knowledge: Must have a working knowledge of network topology and remote access devices.
- Virtual Environment: Must have a working knowledge of virtual environments; VMWare experience is preferred.
- Flexibility: Must demonstrate a high level of flexibility to support business needs.
- Autonomy: Must be able to work autonomously with minimal support.
- Attention to Detail: Must have strong attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with internal and external parties.
- Travel: Must be available to travel (more than) 50% of the time to EMEA offices.
