Job Description

GRS Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager - Financial Operations to join their team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the team's day-to-day operations, preparing monthly management accounts, and assisting with reconciliations and financial statements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the team's day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including financial statements and reports.
  • Assist with reconciliations, including bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations, and interest calculations.
  • Support the preparation of company financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Coordinate and review tax returns, including company tax returns and individual tax returns.
  • Monitor daily cash flow and prepare budget and cash flow projections.
  • Prepare key business indicators, including financial metrics and performance reports.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day procedures of a regulated Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), including onboarding, subscription, redemption, and monthly reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to the prospectus of a regulated AIF.
  • Coordinate and review the NAV calculation of a regulated AIF.
  • Liaise with external advisors, including tax, reporting, and AIF administrators.
  • Communicate directly with banks and banking institutions for day-to-day activities.
  • Prepare monthly regulatory reporting for a regulated AIF.
  • Undertake currency hedging transactions.
Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • ACCA/ACA qualified.
  • At least 3 years post-qualification experience in a finance or accounting environment.
  • Professional working approach and good communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Strong ability to multitask.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
